Up north in Longville, we built a custom wood-fired sauna designed to fit its northern setting. The centerpiece is an IKI wood-burning stove, which gives the deep, traditional heat you want on a chilly night.
Massive windows give a view of the nearby lake from inside the sauna.
The layout is practical too. There is a spacious dressing room, and an oversized porch for cooling off, having people over or sitting and taking in the view.
It works as a place to be alone and as a place to entertain guests.
What stands out
- IKI wood-burning stove
- Massive windows facing the nearby lake
- Spacious dressing room
- Oversized porch for cooling off
