Try a Northern Steam Sauna at Nordic Escape

The best way to decide on a sauna is to sit in one. Nordic Escape in St. Michael, Minnesota runs sauna sessions in a Tuli we built for them, with an IKI electric heater, so you can feel the heat and the room before you order your own.

What you will find there

Nordic Escape is its own business, and it takes bookings for guided and private sauna sessions. The sauna is one of ours.

  • A Northern Steam Tuli, our 8x12 model
  • An IKI electric sauna heater
  • A cedar interior
  • A large window package
  • Bench layout made for groups or a quiet session alone
  • Integrated lighting

Why we send people there

Photos tell you what a sauna looks like. They do not tell you how the heat feels on the top bench, how the steam moves when you throw water, or whether an 8x12 is the right size for your family. An hour at Nordic Escape answers all three.

When you book, mention that you are thinking about a Northern Steam sauna. And when you are ready, tell us what you liked and what you would change. That is the best design brief we get.
