At a lakeside property near Annandale, we overhauled an existing sauna instead of building a new one. The footprint stayed the same. Nearly everything else is new.
We started by gutting the old structure down to the bones. From there we rebuilt it with fresh insulation and new cedar.
We also added soft LED lighting and built in a sound system.
The sauna sits in a good spot, so we expanded the window package. Every session now comes with a view of the lake just outside.
What stands out
- Existing sauna gutted and rebuilt on the same footprint
- Fresh insulation and new cedar
- LED lighting and a built-in sound system
- Expanded windows facing the lake
